Black Leopard Camp

As sad as I was to leave the conservation village, I was hugely excited to spend two nights at the lodge on the reserve, Black Leopard Camp, courtesy of the owners Alan and Lynsey Watson. They have been hugely supportive during my time here, and I will be eternally grateful for everything they have done for me and for my last two nights on Thabo Tholo at their truly stunning lodge!!

The walkway to the lodge.

The Black Leopard Sign.

It is a beautiful, family business.

The dining area. The food on offer at BLC is incredible; Teneille is an absolute genius!!

A really unique selection of jewellery on offer...

...with a cool story behind it.

A very comfy lounge area...

....including my favourite area.

The view from the bar.
In the luxury tents are the comfiest beds I have ever slept on!!

There is an indoor and outdoor (above) bathroom.

The perfect way to end my stay on Thabo Tholo, a bit of R&R in an an outdoor bath and a few drinks.

It has been a truly incredible five months, with an absolutely perfect ending. I would like to again thank everyone I have met out here for making it such a special trip.

And last but by no means least I would like to say a huge thank you to my parents for making my dream of living and working in Africa come true!! It has been the trip of a lifetime and I will be eternally grateful xx

ps: I have quite taken to writing on here, so (possibly unluckily for anyone who reads these) I have quite a few more to come yet :)
